In-flight Supplier Training 11.2.3.10
Staff involved in implementing security controls for in-flight supplies other than screening or having access to identifiable in-flight supplies (Includes those staff directly involved in the handling/preparation of secure in-flight supplies and/or those involved in the preparation/checking of paper work) are required to complete in-flight supplier security training 11.2.3.10 .
Our aviation instructor (Philip Beggs), is certified by the IAA (Irish Aviation Authority) and all courses are presented via an Approved Security Training Organisation (ASTO), ensuring all course content and legislation is fully up to date.

This course will cover the following topics.
(a) Previous acts of unlawful interference with civil aviation and current threats.
(b) Relevant legal requirements and establishing a security aware culture.
(c) Awareness of the insider threat and radicalisation.
(d) knowledge of the objectives and organisation of aviation security.
(e) Procedures for challenging and reporting persons.
(f) Ability to identify prohibited articles.
(g) Respond appropriately to the detection of prohibited articles.
(h) Knowledge of how prohibited articles may be concealed.
(i) Knowledge of protection requirements for in-flight supplies.
(j) Knowledge of transportation requirements.
Who is this course designed for?
All staff working in a regulated suppliers or known suppliers of in-flight supplies must complete in-flight suppliers training 11.2.3.10.
The main objective is to ensure that all staff involved in the handling/preparation of secure in-flight supplies can apply a standardised level of preventative aviation security measures and understand the provisions of the company aviation security programme.
On successful completion of this course participants will be awarded an in-flight suppliers security training certificate stating the competencies of 11.2.3.10 have been completed. Certification is valid for a period of 3 years or when there have been updates of amendments to national security requirements that relate to this sector.
