Airport Supplier Training 11.2.3.10
Staff involved in implementing security controls for airport supplies, handling and preparing supplies other than screening are required to complete airport supplier training 11.2.3.10.
Staff involved in the preparation/checking of documentation are required to complete security training to the competencies of 11.2.3.10.
Our aviation instructor (Philip Beggs), is certified by the IAA (Irish Aviation Authority). All courses are presented via an Approved Security Training Organisation.

This course will cover the following topics.

Previous acts of unlawful interference with civil aviation.

National, EU & international requirements for airport supplies.

Role & function of aviation security security manager & IAA.

Procedures for challenging persons.

Acceptance of all airport supplies and protection requirements of airport supplies.

Knowledge of transportation requirements.

Contingency plans and emergency response procedures.
Who is this course designed for?
All staff working in a known supplier company of airport supplies and in contact with identifiable airport supplies.
This ensures that all staff involved in the handling/preparation of secure supplies can apply a level of preventative aviation security measures.
Training also ensures staff understand the provisions of the Company Security Programme.
On successful completion of this course participants will be awarded an Airport suppliers security training certificate stating the competencies of 11.2.3.10 were completed.
Certification is valid for a period of 3 years or when there have been updates of amendments to national security requirements that relate to this sector.
