Aviation Security Manager Training 11.2.5

Aviation security manager training is designed for any person designated as the aviation security manager within an approved entities premises.
This training is also suitable for any person wishing to take on the role as the designated security manager within an organisation that wishes to apply for entity approval.
Our aviation instructor (Philip Beggs), is certified by the IAA (Irish Aviation Authority) and all courses are presented via an Approved Security Training Organisation (ASTO), ensuring all course content and legislation is fully up to date.
An person attending aviation security manager training will be required to have completed basic aviation security training applicable to their chosen sector that covers the competencies of 11.2.2 as a minimum.

This course will cover the following topics.

  • (a) Relevant legal requirements and how they should be met.
  • (b) Internal, national, Union and international quality control.
  • (c) Ability to motivate others.
  • (d) Capabilities/limitations of security equipment and screening methods.

 

Who is this course designed for?

Aviation security manager training is Specific training for persons with general responsibility at national or local level for ensuring that a security programme and its implementation meet all legal provisions (security managers)
On successful completion of this course participants will be awarded an aviation security manager certificate stating the competencies of 11.2.4 & 11.2.5 have been completed.
Certification is valid for a period of 3 years or when there have been updates of amendments to national security requirements that relate to this sector.
