Aviation Security Training (Drivers & Contractors)
This course is for drivers of vehicles carrying Secure Air Cargo and/or supplies, as well as individuals requiring unescorted access into a regulated entities secure areas such as cleaners, security guards etc. and covers the components required by the National legislation.
The main objective is to ensure that all drivers involved in the transportation of air cargo and/or supplies can apply a standardised level of preventative aviation security measures and understand the provisions of the National Civil Aviation Security Programme (NCASP).

This course will cover the following topics.
Need for aviation security and the objective of training
World-wide overview of aviation security
Role & function of air cargo security managers & IAA
Identity cards – types – requirements for display
Drivers responsibilities / sealing of vehicles
Security checks before and on completion of loading
Documentation and En Route security
Contingency plans and emergency response procedures
Who is this course designed for?
Any drivers or couriers responsible for the transportation of secure air cargo and/or supplies must complete this course before being permitted to transport secure products. The course is also designed for individuals requiring unescorted access into secure areas, such as cleaners.
Course duration & Fee.
The course takes approximately 3.5 hours and costs 75 Euro per person.
On successful completion of the course participants will be awarded a general security awareness training certificate with the competencies of 11.2.7 and a credit card style training badge which is valid for 5 years.
